Hi all Thank you for the positive and supportive comment to Mike H, it was also nice to see a name. The harbour is privately operated and there is only 2 of us working here during the winter. We do try to keep the cameras up and running but they are there as security 1st we are pleased so many people enjoy them that is an added bonus. All the best Gary HarbourMaster

please twist that ferry cam straight
Camera Comments.
Dear Friends I think we should remember that the St.Mawes webcams are provided for our viewing pleasure by the staff at the Harbor Office. My day is not complete without being able to see the comings and goings, its like being home. I am a Falmouthian living up country. My reason for posting is to request that the winging about cam views ceases. Cam 2 gives the office staff a view to the entrance to the car park, when they are to busy to be outside, I think this is also a good security feature. I agree the cam 3 view tilt could be changed when safe to do so, it is an ongoiing problem caused by the weather. Please give the staff your support, as we don't want to lose these cam views. Thanks Folks. Mike H.

St Mawes looks so sunny and the water so blue this December morning, whilst outside our window we are covered in snow.

Stormy weather! Steamy windows!
It looks as though the moving camera has blown down in the gales, and the other two are so steamed up that all I can make out is waves breaking on the Idle Rocks! We look forward to a clearer view of St Mawes when you have a chance to get the ladder out safely!!! Many thanks Paul Stephens
